Who Are We?
The Mayan Ajq’ijab’ Confederation
of Guatemala and Central America, is a community base organization working
with youths, men and women, preserving Mayan values and promoting social
participation. Thereby, workshops, seminars and leadership development,
elders are recovering the Mayan life style and promoting well being in
communities by building organizations.
Representatives of Mayan Ajq’ijab’ are
active on local and international events where Mayan voice and participation
are need.
Why Are we Here?
The Mayan Ajq’ijab’ Confederation
of Guatemala and Central America, is formed by 96 community base organizations
nationwide working to preserve knowledge close extinctions. Including
rights to practices their beliefs on sacred places, confront racism,
and demanding law for the indigenous people.
Every day we confront rights denial from the State and dominant society,
those biases against Mayan as second-class citizen, on workplace, social
interaction, and political participation. Even those bias and barriers
against Mayan, we have a political point of view to make a better Guatemala.

We located across Burgerking fast food, Inter American Hayway
Km. 52.5, inside the Hato Stek House. That house is for public events
only.

musicians. Their skills have being as medicine man as well teaching youths
throughout Mayan life style.
